    Deceit

I felt depleted professing this love every day I desired to be the good man for you in every way But now, I’m not just cut out for this Not anymore, my soul is too feeble for all this risk I can’t trust the love you offered me without deceit Yes, deceit is what you’ve been offering And I’m a little child left in the hands of suffering That love that I used to be so crazy about Is suddenly growing weary and sailing away to the south. Where is our love? God,Rest its soul! How could I ressurect a broken heart? Over! Never!! I won’t let my world to…

    Love on the road

That morning was very cold. Rain fell the previous night and it kept me on my bed. The weather brought that sensation that makes you crave for more sleep even when it’s bright outside. My mother stormed my room and then expectedly slapped my butt. She was very fond of that. She usually tells me that my butt was too big for me. For the most part, she recounts how she had a flat ass-cheek at my age, and perhaps I had inherited mine from her mother, my grandmother. RAINBOW

Rainbow.. Like the fall of the new rain on a sandy land, Your footsteps solemnize on my mind, Thumping every part of my aching heart, Your true love solely sat. .. Bustling like the old Northern wind, My eyes with a promise rescind, Telling my mind you have to look back, At the sight I so much wanted, the one I lack. .. Gearing each day to see your pretty face, Dreaming of you each and every day, My mind, so restless became too loving, Waiting to hear your voice, your talking. .. First day we spoke, first day we kissed, The meals together and the dates we missed, All…

    BATTLING WITH MY FEARS

BATTLING WITH MY¬†FEARS   It is 4:30pm. You sit on your bed, yoga style. The other day, you had read in a blog post how this sitting position was the best for effective writing especially when one’s muse was being toyed with by their village people. That is exactly your present predicament and you’ve been sitting in this position for God knows how long. Your phone lay on your bed, open to a blank page on WPS Office. The cursor blinks on desperately, yearning to be utilized. Your head feels woolly. Many ideas swim inside it but none seem worth writing about. You want to write about your hard-to-please Creative…

    Heartbreak

I have been crying for so long but I have never been sick, Hot liquid continually stroll down my cheek, Everyone sees me in a state of delirium. I’m derailing off the healthy lane to your asylum. I am a weeping spring over your forlorn footprints, I dream all over again of our love stints, I have gone far and wide, I have lost my stallion to the cupid to ride. But none satisfy the quench of my heart, No one seems to care as much as you had done like that. I saw you deep in my dreams, I saw you when my mind…
